That looks absolutely DIVINE! Yum =)

love the new look...fresh color!

Oh my gosh, that looks fabulous. So inspiring, your colours are beautiful. Thats exactly what i like in my house - love something with a bit if character, but with the gorgeous colour twist. Hope to see more photos of your room! Renee x

oh baby! now that is too fun!! & your dialogue is hysterical

...looks fabulous!

wicked!!! I'm painting my guest bathroom that color!

Fantastic color!! Love it.

So pretty.

I LOVE it! I'm also not ashamed to say I totally plan to steal your brilliant idea.

I love it. And your last photo of it is great!!!
I have the same thought with most of the picture frames we get. Anything can be painted.

I love this idea! I have a gilded frame I 'rescued' from the...er, roadside, that is hanging from a rafter in the garage...er, my studio. Now I know exactly what it needs! Thank you, again, for the inspiration! XO

Awesome! The color is just *perfect*.

Yes. I think the patina-ed look suits you (the you that we all know, anyway) much better than the stodgy gold. Hurrah for making old things new again.

Wonderful color choice! Now I'll have to be looking for a paint-worthy mirror of my own.

it seemes we all have a gilded mirror waiting to be rescued from our garage. now i have the perfect inspiration.

Heather - I've been reading your blog for a while now and am not sure if I've commented before. Seeing your very fun mirror today, though I had to comment: I so enjoy your decorating style. The colours make me so happy.

Thank you so much for sharing your colourful part of the world!

I am SO going to copy that mirror! And I love how you're teasing us with that out of focus chandelier in the reflection (I'll probably copy that too)! Dang! ;)

what a great idea - I love the colour!

the color is scrumptious! love it!

Uh oh... now no frame is safe around here!

ps - I just bought a bagful of your Fresh Cut fabric! I had to trek way up to north Plano but it was SO worth it... absolutely gorgeous!!!!

Oh, wow. That looks amazing! What did you use to apply the paint?

I'm moving soon, and I can't wait to begin decorating the new place. I've been waiting in trembling anticipation for so long!

PERFECT!!!! You go girl. Funky things up. Take no prisoners. With taste like yours nothing but the fabulous should survive. Wish I was there to help. Love you.

OH! I love it! I love it against the pink wall too. :)

Such lovely colors you have. Love the mirror.

just found your blog and now i'm just off to buy some of your fabric.
everything looks just beautiful.

I am completely enamored with this mirror, I can barely contain myself. I feel a project coming on!

From this moment on whenever I look at my gold-framed mirror it will be blah. and so not full-force...but my mother-in-law would crucify me if I painted "her" gold-framed mirror....funny how she calls all the items she's given me as gifts, "hers"....

Anything blue is good. Awesome idea.

DANG! THAT is just the PERFECT COLOUR!!!

absolutely gorgeous and also unique...love the colours!

love.
i may copy your color scheme for my gold mirror that i inherited with my house.

Beautiful mirror and walls. I hope we get to see more peaks into your room... it looks so fun!

Love it! The color of "patina" is a favorite of mine.

The mirror looks great--I love the color and the idea is definitely not a "yawn."

love it!! you are killing me with the suspense of seeing the rest of your studio...especially the green chandelier!! ack!

..

OH PRETTY!!! But where are the photos of the REST of your studio!?

I have never really liked prissy....I do like prissy with a twist though like your mirror. :o)
Great job!!

Funny, I have both those colours on my walls in my home...just never thought to combine them like that....Off to take down my silly gold mirror in my bathroom....gotta have something to spruce up those orange walls.....Thanks for the fabulous idea....weekend project.

I totally agree with you on the prissy thing. The mirror looks really awesome!

beautiful.

just wonderful

Wow, I love it! What kind of paint did you use? Did it adhere okay? I'd love to try a project like this.

I've never commented on you blog before (I think...), but I've been reading it for a while now. I feel it's about time I said hi :O) Love how this mirror turned out, lovely color!

Haha, I have a gold mirror too. It was my grandma's and I can't stand to get rid of it, and yet at the same time it's not something I would proudly display.... but you have given me an idea, and now a fun color would maybe just make it right for me after all. Thanks for sharing your ideas with all of us! Truly inspiring.

that frame is lovely! I need to add that to my to do list. The inspiration is fantastic on your blog!

I have an identical gold mirror to yours! And I've held onto it for 4 years, my hubby refused to let me put it up. I don't blame him really..it is a gold mirror.

I saw your post and showed my husband what you did with your mirror...and a few short hours later, I have a new mirror hanging on the wall!

Thanks for the inspo!

Hi there,

LOVE what you are doing, the blog, your
fabrics, the projects...

Between you and your husband's talent, your children should be the start of the next generation of wonder kids!

Best,
H2

QUESTION...what kind of paint did you use? Is it acrylic?

Please share that paint color/brand with me...my little girls room is calling out for some accents in that color....
