So, look what I found!, a download of the pincushion pattern I wrote for Better Homes & Gardens' Quilts & More.
I've probably had over four dozen requests for this pattern in my
inbox, but am under contract to not release it for a few months. I had
no idea it was up on their site and available all of this time.
I'm not sure how much longer they'll have it posted, so go get a copy.
Fun little stocking stuffer!

Sweet!

just one remark, it would have been great to have centimeters also ... for "non-inches" countries, LOL ! (but I'll try to convert myself ;-)

MANY thanks, Heather! When I learned about the pattern a couple of months ago, I scoured newstands for the BH&G summer issue, but the autumn issues were already up! I was completely bummed. You've made my day!

Yeah for the download. I'm excited to make some. Let's see how many I can finish by Christmas.

Heather,
Just found your blogg...wanted to download the pincushion pattern and could not find it from the BHG links you posted. I did a search on BHG webpage and nothing...what am I doing wrong?? tks for all the goodies you offer us..they are beautiful
Posted by: Betty | January 02, 2008 at 02:34 PM
Hi Betty -- I just followed the link to make sure it works and was led right to the pattern, so I don't think there's a problem. Make sure to follow the link that says "download."
Eventually I'll have this pattern in the sidebar of my blog, once the exclusivity bit of my contract for the article with BHG is up. So, hopefully you'll have it soon either way : )

This pin cushion is fantastic! I love the colors. It almost looks like if you make the pattern 100x bigger, you could use it for seat cushions! Thanks for the pattern!

What a cute pin cushion. Thanks for giving us all the link.

I love this pattern but it seems the finished measurements don't match the pattern I printed... am I suposed to enlarge it or something? I think my blond is kicking in :) I just don't see it lol.
Posted by: Wendi | March 31, 2008 at 08:09 PM
I'm another that printed the pattern but there are no measurements on the diagrams and the pattern didn't print out to size.
Can anyone tell me what the size should be please?
Thank you!

I did make that last year from their website! I loved it. I used a hello kitty fabric and hot pink polka dots. You made a wonderful pattern!
