Float Bloat

Gingermanfloat
There was a tear in the time/space continuum last month that left us about two weeks behind the rest of the world in Holiday spirit.  Kick off the Holidays as late as December 22nd and you might welcome your gussied tree to hang around long past New Year's.

Gingerbread
Well, today was the day.  The tree has left the building.

One last hoorah with a Gingerbread Man Float and it's onto sugar detox.  Here's hoping the Jones Soda Company brings these back next year.  Mmmm.

Happy New Year!!
My tree just left the building last night to so you are not alone, besides it is supposed to stay up til the sixth of January anyway (The Epiphany). So glad Trash Ties is keeping you so busy, I hope you find time to get back to the purse pattern you were working on, I know, so demanding but I love your creations, can't help it they are all so yummy and fun!!

Hi Heather,
that jones soda looks yummy. I am a bg ginger fan. Have you tried ginger spread? It is awesome.
Hey, thanks so much for your well- wishes. Looking forward to getting to know you!

You made me hungry :)
I'm gonna try to make some sort of float right now!

HA!, I don't feel so bad - we all got stomach flu here so I didn't undecorate anything or take apart the tree until last Thursday, and I thought I was being bad : D LOL

Oooh - I love a ginger float! Normally, we use ginger brew and, if we're luck enough to find it, ginger ice cream. I'm wondering how different the Gingerbread Man soda is from my beloved Reed's Extra Ginger Brew - I'm guessing it's a bit more cookie-sweet. Good either way in float form, I'm sure.

After a day with packing 3000 (yes, 3000!) books in preparation for my move, I think I'll treat myself to a float tonight!

Vanessa
The Box Queen who has to call her home phone with her cell phone just so she can find it! :-)

Our tree was just "relocated" this week also....it still looked so pretty, it seemed a shame to evict it sooner! Hey, that float looks YUM!!!

My house is still decorated and my tree is still burning brightly. But it's okay. I was not here for the holidays. I spent two weeks in Arkansas with family and I never really got to just enjoy my tree. I left shortly after decorating. So, it is up and I don't mind. I AM taking the porch stuff down so the neighbors don't think I am such a redneck but I just love the soft glow of the tree by the fireplace. Christmas spirit is not just a day on the calendar....it is always and so my tree is still up, for at least another day. (I also continue to listen to my Christmas CD's...I find them so soothing and relaxing!)

I was just thinking about linking paperdolls this morning, and how I couldn't remember if shown Eleni how to make them!!
hope you are well pal. xo, Anna

It looks and sounds delicious. I'll have to look for this product next Christmas season.

Gingerbread float?! Mmm... I had no idea that someone had made gingerbread soda; I'm definitely keeping my eyes peeled for that one next year! ;)

Add me to the list of women who still need the tree - I was gone so much during the holidays, I just want to look at my tree (okay, the lights on the tree) a little longer!

Gingerbread float? Brilliant! Yum, yum, yum.

UGH - that float looks so yummy - and that's kind of like teasing me 'cause I'm pregnant! Guess hubby will be making a run tonight. Probably won't be gingerbread at this point in January, but it'll be good nonetheless. YUM!

I've never heard of that flavour but it's genius! I was craving a float the other day too so I went and picked up some rootbeer and soy ice cream. It was delicious!

Mmmm, Gingerbread float. It was a happy day when Jones took over the soda concessions at Qwest Field here in Seattle.

Wow that float looks so good! I wish I knew if the stores still carried it. They may have sold out by now....LOL! Guess what...It's time to decorate for Valentines!

LOL!

Susan

My tree *still* hasn't left the building. Although, I haven't bothered to turn on the lights in well over a week - at this point it is sheer lack of interest in the work of putting it away that is keeping it around...

Ya, we haven't taken down our tree yet either. We have a pre-lit tree and most of the lights went out on it after only 3 years. So my dear hubby has spent days replacing them! Needless to say the bulbs are still going out so we can't put it away until he gets them all working again. I don't mind so much...I like the festive spirit! Plus it puts me in the mood to make Christmas gifts for NEXT year! :)

mmmmmmmmm...yummy float.
we love jones soda here.

Oh yum yum, that looks delicious.
The closest I came to something that yummy was the gingerbread icecream which a local shop makes. I think we went through 3 whole tubs over Christmas.

can't believe I missed that somehow, that sounds so good... here's to hopin' for next year too since apparently I slept through this Christmas when it comes to the soda aisle.

love the float, the photo makes me crave for it right now.
