Lotsa Lotsa

I didn't realize it until later, but "Random Debris" was a pretty sad-sounding post title, huh?  That wasn't my intention.  We're doing quite well for all of the hubbub.  My dad's heart tests went well and he was released from the hospital on his birthday - best present possible.  Home-cooked meal at our house & chocolate cake too. Four family birthdays this week in fact, and one little baby girl on her way.  Lots of birthdays, lots of design projects, lots of catching up, lots of Lotsa.

I'm heading out to North Carolina in the morning for Donna's big shindig.  Humorously, business trips seem to be my best chance to relax.  It's those long plane rides: sketchbook, embroidery, audiobooks, iTune movies for my Nano.  I'm all set.  Watched a rental from iTunes on my way to the Country Living event last month.  Pretty cool.  I just wish they'd give you longer than 24 hours to complete a movie once you start watching it.

I'm real happy your dad is better, went thru the stress of heart tests with my mom 2 years ago and even when it's minor it's still worisome.
That fabrics tease is SO unfair! I can wait to see it all, if it's anything like the Freshcut it will ruine me for the rest of the year.
Have fun on your trip.
Danielle

Hi Heather! Great news about your dad. The new designs look deeelightful!

I'm glad your dad is doing better. It would be sad to spend these beautiful days cooped up in a hospital!
I'm so excited about your fabric. Really super excited. :D

Well I guess I know where my stimulus check will be spent!!!

excited!!!!!

Ooooh new fabric, I can't wait!

Hey, do you know where I can buy your paper line in Canada? I've checked all my local scrapbook stores and so far none of them have it. I wonder if the fabric stores that sell your fabric will sell the paper as well.

Cindy

Four of my children have birthdays the first week of April...not hard to do with a set of triplets. Tee, hee. My dad, my neice, and my nephew also have April birthdays. Yep, April is a good month. Now if only the sun would come out and stay out in my neck of the woods, April would be perfect!

Love the peek at whatever that is in your photo. If it's fabric, I'm in love. If it's something else...well, I'm still in love.

What - new fabric? Looks wonderful! Praying for May and continued good health for your dad and many more birthdays for him too.

Heather, Great news about your father. And the new line looks SO gorgeous in just that little sneak peek. You made my heart race! Thinking May!

So I read your bio on Donna's website & found out the new line is called pop garden?? OOO so fun!!! can't wait for the new line!! Like I said I know where my check is going in May!!!! Sounds like a fun time with inspirational women, I'm so jealous!!!

I'm from NC - great weather right now! Have fun!

Hi Heather,

I found your site on someone's blog and I just want to let you know your site is amazing and you're so talented. I'm a fashion design graduate but now a stay at home mom. Are you somewhere in Arizona? I'm in Gilbert. I love how you photograph your pictures. Do you give tutorial on how to take pictures of objects? I'm a beginner photographer and I just bought a Nikon D80. If you have any time to post some tips on taking those pictures that would be awesome.

Prayers for your dad, glad to hear he is better. FABRIC??? Can't wait, any idea when it will be making it's debut? Love all you do!!!

Can't wait! They look beautiful!

Ooooh, I LOVE sneaky peeks! Can't wait to see the whole collection. :o)
Glad to hear your dad is doing well.
Praying for May! ;o)

I'm so glad to hear that your father is doing well. A happy, happy birthday to him!

I love the picture you posted, so full of glorious color and I love how you've tied ribbons around the paper rolls. Delightful!

I'm so glad your Dad is OK.
Looking forward to that new fabric!

So glad to hear your dad is doing better. I'm a little perturbed about the iTunes 24 hour rule too. I mean, even with Blockbuster you get 2 full days before you have to return it.

The sneak peak at the new fabric looks wonderful. I love the intense and fun colors.

Can't wait for more!!!!

I am glad that your dad is doing better! The new line is looking beautiful as well
