Very pretty! A very good idea, too...and yes, how very naughty that last joke was... ;D!

That is adorable! I most certainly LOVE your pincushion collection, and the apple is so cute!

Clever. That's what you are!

Oh Love it! Always need a good teacher gift and since I just received a note from my sons first grade teacher requesting that none of the parents give her any sweets or things to eat this year that she is trying to watch her weight (couldn't decide if this was commendable... or tacky! Lol) this would surely be a healthy alternative. Thanks :)

Super pretty! I can't wait to make some of these once I have my crafting space cleared out :)

These gorgeous pincushions make me wish my sewing skills were above mediocre =) Unfortunately I have to stick to knitting!

That apple cushion is super cute. And boy, am I glad I never had to teach you!

very cute!

Oh my! I know a few teachers who would certainly enjoy this kind of apple. Myself included.

That is so cute! Love it!

What a cute pincushion Heather! You rock!

freaking cute! I just wish it was a downloadable pattern. Time is of the essence.

True! It's sad I can't have that pattern NOW so I could get some done before Christmas!

Good thinking! We're shipping orders out within 24 hours mostly, so there's plenty of time to pick up an apple pattern by Christmas if you're in the US.

As a teacher, I've gotten lots of apple things over the years, but this would be one of the cutest. Lovely gift idea.

Too cute!! Great post - love your slogans!!

great pincushions Heather, seems like some teachers are going to be happy. I am taking the easy route and grabbing some of my stuff that other manufacturers made from my designs. I am overloaded with work this week so maybe just a handmade ornament this year!

Funny slogans, I am sure they would like that too!

Love it (O:

so cute....and the pincushion isn't bad either:-)

What great fun! I love the shape, texture and colors of this fab pincushion! I had no idea apples could be so eloquent....

I am a big fan of yours, you are totally inspiring and have lovely designs....best wishes to you and your family for a wonderful holiday season.

Just wanted to stop by and say you have a VERY lovely blog here!

:)

love the slogans, lol! super cute pincushion, thanks for sharing! :)

What a creative idea! I love it.

So pretty! I love the pins too!

I love pincushions, and this one is no exception! Very sweet.

Hi-larry-OUS! I love them.... and now I have to get the pattern just to make little cards to go with them :)

Hmmm. I don't think it's apple cider you're drinking. Whatever it is have you got any for the rest of the class? :)~

just gorgeous, heather!
love them~

H,

That was hysterical! You're very clever! Thank you - I needed a chuckle today. And that pin cushion is beyond adorable. :)

I love it!! So cute. I love the pins too. Where on earth do you find those?

darling apple; I don't know if I've ever seen a pincushion I didn't like (and i don't even know how to sew--its on my to-do list), but your fabric makes it over the top cute!! You are pretty good at the rhymes too!

Absolutely LOVELY!

Har har har. I love when you get going like that :-)

Truth be told I'm Sold!!!...hahaha love that apple thanks for making me laugh! :D

I think I love the pins ALMOST as much as the pin cushion!

LOL Very Cute...the apple and the post!

Kimberly :)

Cool! I love it! I copied your pear idea a year ago before the pattern was available, so soon I hope to actually follow your pattern for this adorable apple. A whole world of fruit out there....I wonder if there would be a way to make a pineapple pincushion? Like do some kind of smocking technique to make the pineapple pattern...mmmmm....thank you for the inspiring pincushions!

These pincushions are so cute! I was wondering if you would take a picture of your Christmas tree to show us. I can just imagine how beautiful and inspiring it is.

Love everything on your blog!! Could you share the info of where you found the darling pins ON the pincushion. They are fantastic, too!

I can't wait to get the pattern. I haven't done much sewing but this has driven me to do it. I am thinking of doing several different fruits and putting them in a bowl on my coffee table. That will make a great spring look! Now that I think about it I could do them in different patterns of fabric for the different seasons!

Thanks for the great inspiration!

hey,
made one of the pears, well actually made lots of the pears but gave one to my granddaughter to give to her home ect. teacher. she was thrilled.. love the apple too.

they're actually pretty good slogans, hahaha.
the pincushion is absolutely adorable, as the pins in it. i don't think i ever had so pretty ones.

I don't know why I didn't order this pattern earlier but the last day of preschool is Thursday. I don't suppose there's any chance you can e-mail a digital pattern file if I get one now? Just thought I'd try.

It's wonderful! I love it so much!!!

WAY cute! I have this darling pattern and can't wait to make it, but it would look SOOO much cuter with those great pins on it!! Where did you get those? I can't seem to find a source for them anywhere. Do share, do share!

How cute is that!?!!

That's so cute!! And I'm totally in love with your blog! :)

How darling is that?! Please, please tell me where you got the pins! I'm always on the search for new ones and those are so fabulous!
