Congrats on that cute new assistant!! I bet she will ease a bit of your stress! Will she be going with you to Market??

Also, wowzers on that monitor!!! It took me a while to get used to the old 17"...not sure how I'd handle the 24" Hahahahah.....glad things are looking better for you. Can't wait to see your new stuff!

Emily is adorable. I bet she'll end up being worth her weight in gold.

I've used a laptop exclusively for about two years and I don't think you could pay me to go back to a desk top.

I have a cinema display at work and at home along with a mouse and keyboard at each and I have my laptop that connects to either one. It's the best of both worlds! Congrats on the new assistant and the new 'puter. :)

Yeah, the 24" is awesome isn't it?! I begged my husband to let me get the 30" and he looked at me like I was crazy! Turns out the 24 is perfectly fantastic :)

Great minds, Dena. That's my plan too, once I'm hopping between the home studio and an office. Glad to hear it works well. It sure sounds dreamy.

Congrats! I love big monitors :)

I got my 24" Cinema Display about 6 months ago and I don't know how I lived without it. I also love my 17" laptop but wow, the ACD is da bomb! Is yours the new glossy or the classic matte?

Awww, I've been an Emily fan forever!!! So good to see what she is up to now. And...I love my laptop...love being able to do school work or fun work...basically anywhere!! Oh the possibilities!!

Hi Heather,
I have the 24" on my desktop Mac, but am typing this from my 17 year old daughter's tiny little MacBook while watching my 4 year old in the bath. My hubby also has a MacBook, so I kind of cruise around the house, from Mac to Mac all day. My family wonders why they come home to find their browsers all on all my favorite sites.

So, since I am on my daughters Mac, and the prom is Saturday, she wanted me to ask you to post instructions for that beautiful hairdo from the other day. I am still working on finishing her dress, but am totally not gifted with hair. Please, have mercy on this poor, hair impaired mother.....please...

Ok, off to wash the hair of the singing, soaking wet 4 year old. Happy Wednesday.

You'll get used to the 24" and soon start eyeing the 42" TV in the living room, wondering if your husband will know it's missing.

I have a 24" I got it about 5yrs. ago that was cause I have very bad eyesight, I'm blind from my right eye. I just love it. My husband just went and got it, its great cause I have the fonts a bit bigger and I can read it without it going off the screen, it also doubles for my TV in the living room. My husband has a TV room with a 90" screen imagine that as a computer which sometimes he hooks up to to play a game....to much I think,,,LOL.

I'm an Executive assistant in the City of London and I'm very jealous of Emily. I live in a world of spreadsheets and decoding financial terms.... I wish I assisted someone like you! Lucky Emily!

I'm so happy to hear about Emily...a perfect choice! Can't wait to see you soon at preview day!

Enjoy the 24" - it's gorgeous isn't it - gotta love those Macs (says me sat here at a 12" iBook 'cos stomach cramps has got me on the sofa away from my 24" baby. ;-)

yeah Emily!!
Congrats Heather, Emily is so wonderful, I am however, suffering from mac envy, it is so past time to upgrade mine...

Oh my ... I am so tickled for you Heather and for Emily.

I of course haven't met you, but I adore Emily and was just wondering the other day what had transpired and here's the news on your blog!
