Giveaway Winners
1. Christie Sproul, who wrote, "hi heather!! betty is so cute.....just starting on my 6 yr old daughter's
costume...I am making Autumn the Woodland Fairy costume with no tutu as per
her orders!! lol!"
2. Maribeth, who wrote, "too cute!! at our house, my little girl loves the nursery rhyme, three
little ghostesses, it gives her a little bit of halloween without all the
scary just yet."
3. Cathy P., who wrote, "So cute! love the girly bat.
My 4-year-old daughter is going as a flower - I made the costume using an
oversized green tee and some craft felt. I also knit a headband and added
some more felt petals to it. My first time making a costume....but my
daughter loves it!
And my 4-month-old daughter is going as a bee (her sister's hand-me-down
costume from BabyStyle)."
4. Kay Prince, who wrote,
"Here's a poem for you:
There once was a girl named Heather
She couldn't decide which was better:
Christmas or Halloween
On both she was quite keen
In the end it was decided by the weather.
Okay, it's not great, but at least I tried! I would love to win a little
Betty Boo Sock Doll kit! So cute!"

Thanks so much, I can't believe I won! Just sending off my email to Emily now!

I have a question. I was looking at socks yesterday at Target, and the solid heel parts were so tiny compared to the toe. It would make barely a 2" head. Is this okay for your pattern? I think I shall just have to order a kit first! Thanks. It is adorable!

Thanks for this wonderful pattern Heather. Just enough time for me to make one for two little people I know! They don't do very scary so Pumpkin and Dot are just right!

Such a cute pattern. I have saved it to my desktop and as I don't have any little girls who might appreciate it I'll make one just for me to keep me company in my sewing room ;) I've got some old, odd hiking socks laying around too... could be just the thing...?

I'm way past giveaway hour, but just had to mention: these ROCK. With three little people (well, small, medium, large-ish), I've been searching for cheeky ideas for all those adorable too-small socks for years. Bingo!
Thanks, Molly

I really like the patterns and the colors on the socks. It also reminds of beany babies back in the days.
