Several religions claim that the world rests on the back of an elephant, standing on a tortoise. Though neither is ready to carry the weight of the world, Effie & Henrietta are happy to hold some pins for you. Kudos to them for knowing their limits.
These sweet little elephants make fun baby toys too -- great for girls and for boys. I dream of a turtle & elephant mobile.
Check out the perfect, sloping elephant bums and cute little tails. Ah, elephants, my newest mini pattern, hot off the press.

My daughter (who is 14 now) has been IN LOVE with elephants since she was 3.. I don't know why.. but it's quite a unique thing. When we travel she buys little elephants and has a collection of them on her shelf.
I'm going to get this pattern to make her one for her little "collection"...

Ah, they're so adorable! I love the sloping bums!
Last night I discovered that online UK yarn shop Get Knitted stocks your patterns. I was giddy. A giddy goat. I think I need a little bit of practice with Mr Sewing Machine (I'm really more of a knitter) before tackling the lovely Marlo handbag.

Very cute! I had a bird named Effie once. Someone gave it to me when I was around 12. It had a nervous condition and pulled all it's own feathers out. Your Effie is so much cuter.

Love it! I just made the pear pin cushion for my daughter for Christmas, and I had so much fun. Your patterns are very well written and easy to use. I'm mad that I didn't get to photograph it properly when I finished it, and only have a blurred photo! But, I'm making myself one in the coming weeks, so I'll take photos and brag again, how great your patterns are on my blog. I used your fabrics on it too :)

They're gorgeous but I was a bit disconcerted because my 3 year old insisted that there were only two elephants in the picture. There are three, right?
